Effective Date: October 19, 2026
Pink Dog Digital (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates pinkdogdigital.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our site, including through the third-party analytics and advertising tools we use, how that information is used, and the choices available to you.
The short version
- We only collect personal details you choose to send us, and we use them only to reply to you.
- We use Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel to measure site traffic and advertising.
- Under some state privacy laws, that advertising use can count as a “sale” or “share” of personal information. You can opt out at any time.
- Questions or requests? Email zach@pinkdogdigital.com or call 410.696.3305.
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly. We do not collect personally identifiable information about you unless you choose to give it to us — for example, by submitting a contact form, emailing us, or calling us. In that case, we collect whatever you provide (such as your name, email address, phone number, or the contents of your message) solely to respond to your inquiry.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our site, we and the third-party services listed below automatically collect technical and behavioral information, including your IP address (which may be used to estimate general location), browser type, device and operating system, pages viewed, time spent on pages, referring and exit URLs, and interactions such as clicks and form submissions.
Third-Party Services We Use
This site uses the following third-party services to measure traffic and advertising performance. Each of these services may set cookies or similar technologies on your device and collect data directly, independent of us:
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use this site — which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, what device and browser they use, and how they arrived at our site (e.g., search, referral link, or direct visit). Google processes this data under its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. We have not configured Google Analytics to identify you personally, and we do not attempt to re-identify individual visitors from this data.
Google Ads / DoubleClick
We use Google Ads advertising and remarketing tools (which rely on DoubleClick/Google Marketing Platform cookies) to measure the performance of our ad campaigns and to show our ads to people who have previously visited our site as they browse other websites. These cookies allow Google to link your visit to our site with your activity on other sites in order to serve relevant ads.
Meta (Facebook) Pixel
We use the Meta Pixel on our site to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, to build audiences for ad targeting, and to deliver remarketing ads to past visitors across Meta’s platforms. Meta may associate the data collected through the Pixel with your Facebook or Instagram account if you are logged in. Meta’s use of this data is governed by its own data policy, available at facebook.com/policy.php.
None of these tools are used by us to sell your personal information for money. However, under California and other state privacy laws, the use of advertising pixels like Google Ads and the Meta Pixel can be considered a “sale” or “share” of personal information because data about your browsing activity is disclosed to Google and Meta for advertising purposes. See “Your Privacy Choices” below for how to opt out.
Cookies and Your Choices
This site uses a cookie consent tool that lets you accept, reject, or customize non-essential cookies — including those used by Google Analytics, Google Ads, and the Meta Pixel — the first time you visit, and you can change your preferences at any time using the cookie preferences link in the site footer.
You also have these additional options:
Your Privacy Choices (Do Not Sell or Share)
If you are a California resident, or a resident of another state with similar privacy protections, you have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information, including information shared with Google and Meta through the advertising tools described above. You can exercise this right by:
- Rejecting non-essential cookies in our cookie consent banner, or
- Using the opt-out links listed above for Google Ads, the Meta Pixel, and industry-wide advertising opt-outs, or
- Contacting us directly using the information below and asking us to disable these tools for your visits.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals we know to be under 16 years of age.
How We Use Information
We use the automatically collected information described above to understand site traffic and usage patterns, measure and improve the performance of our advertising, diagnose technical issues, and improve our site’s content and design.
We use information you provide directly (such as through a contact form) solely to respond to your inquiry. We will not contact you about unrelated matters, and we will never sell, rent, or trade your personally identifiable information to third parties — subject to the advertising-pixel disclosures described above, which you can opt out of at any time.
We may disclose personal information if required to do so by law, such as in response to a valid court order, subpoena, or law enforcement request, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or the safety of others.
Embedded Content from Other Websites
Pages on this site may include embedded content (for example, videos, images, or articles) from other websites. Embedded content behaves as if you had visited the source website directly — those sites may collect data about you, set their own cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the content, including if you are logged into an account on that site.
Data Security
We employ reasonable security measures to help protect information collected through this site from unauthorized access. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information you transmit to us or that is collected by our third-party service providers.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, the tools we use, or applicable law. The “Effective Date” above reflects the date of the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
